About

Hello. My name is Megan Wright, and I am an avid hiker, painter, and gardener. I grew up using art as a way to bridge the gap between reality and the surreal. I draw heavy inspiration from nature, and I always find the most colorful way to bring us all back to our roots. Art has historically been a successful way for humans to communicate with one another, ultimately telling a story unlike any other.

My art career started in elementary school as an avid daytime doodler, which snowballed into a passion for creating. I began my education in graphic design, completing my associate's degree in applied science. I am currently a senior at Appalachian State University, working on a bachelor's degree in advertising with a minor in graphic communications management.

Beginning my journey as a graphic designer, I started taking on side projects to fuel my passion and develop competitive levels of experience in a fast-moving professional environment. With encouragement from instructors, I diverted my goals to advertising, calling on more statistically driven data to further my passion for art that tells an everlasting story.
